Ha Brings Home Academic All-America Honor
Wrestler becomes first recipient in program history
MANHEIM, Pa. (May 21, 2026) – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) released the Inaugural California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) individual women's wrestling Scholar All-America awards at the conclusion of the 2026 3C2A State Championship Tournament.
Representing Moorpark College as the first-ever women's wrestling Academic All-America recipient is sophomore Martha Ha. A two-year standout for the Raiders, Ha was one of just twenty-nine student-athletes honored across the entire state.
Ha, a sophomore from Panorama City, Calif. competed in the 103-pound weight-class this year and excelled. The product of Granada Hills Charter High School spent time ranked among the Top-10 in the state and worked just as hard academically as a Social and Behavioral Studies major.
NWCA Executive Director, Mike Moyer, stated, "These student-athletes have demonstrated a strong commitment both on the mat and in the classroom. We commend their dedication and the example they set for the sport."
