Quartet Crowned Individual WSC Champion; Earn All-WSC
Raiders tally 35 All-WSC honors
MOORPARK, Calif. (June 12, 2026) – The 2026 Western State Conference (WSC) Women's Track & Field Championships not only produced a team title, but four individuals were crowned as event champions, earning league recognition. Including the quartet, 18 student-athletes took home 35 different All-WSC honors.
Cristal Lopez won the Javelin (2.90m), Maya Natarajan was a dual-champion in the 1,500m (4:44.35) and 5,000m (19:03.53), Madi Thai won both the Long Jump (5.10m) and High Jump (1.67m) and Keira Wyatt was the fastest 100m time of the day at 12.16. Each was named to the First Team All-WSC.
Also landing on the First Team by placing first through third were Wyatt (200m), Thai (400m, TJ), Lily Cohen (SP, DT, JT), Kaili Nguyen (HJ) and Nadia Smith (PV).
Placing fourth to sixth to earn Second Team All-WSC were Thai (200m), Reece Trice (800m, 1,500m), Ava Sanders (1,500m, 5,000m), Dulce Godinez (5,000m), Joey Tobi (400mH), Natalia Beltran (Steeplechase), Isabella Shattuck (Steeplechase), Addison Pereira (Steeplechase), Wyatt (LJ) and Katelyn Aguilar (TJ).
The 4x100m Relay team of Thai, Wyatt, Leilah Strother and Imani Clayton and 4x400m Relay team of Thai, Tobi, Wyatt and Trice also earned Second Team All-WSC honors.
Rounding out the awards is the group of Honorable Mention recipients who placed between seventh and ninth at the Championship meet. This group includes Godinez (1,500m), Keira Kassi (10,000m), Thai (100mH), Beltran (400mH, JT, HJ) and Aguilar (DT).
