MOORPARK, Calif. (Dec. 17, 2025) – After winning the 2025 Western State Conference (WSC) Men's Cross Country Team title on Oct. 24, nine Raiders were honored with accolades from the league. Sophomore Tommy White was selected as the co-Athlete of the Year while nine additional teammates garnered All-WSC recognition for their respective finishes this fall.

White, the 2025 WSC Championships runner-up was selected as the co-Athlete of the Year, sharing the title with rival Weston Greenelsh from Cuesta. The pair finished 1-2 at WSC Championships as well as the California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) SoCal Regional Championships and the 3C2A State Championships, a true testament to how the duo has competed with and pushed one another on the course over the last two seasons. Each was named to the First Team All-WSC.

Success stems from incredible coaching to parallel the talents of the student-athletes. For that, the 2025 Coaching Staff was recognized as Head Coach Traycie Kephart was selected as the WSC Co-Coach of the Year with Cuesta's Robert Neely. Kephart previously earned the COY honor in 2021 and 2022 to mark her third such honor, Additionally, Assistant Coach Maggie Shearer was equally as responsible for the successes on the course.

The All-WSC First Team also included sophomores Hezekiah Bergara and David Raigoza as well as freshman Trent Williams.

Another freshman recipient of conference recognition this year was Russell Benner who alongside sophomores Angel Garcia and Logan Torres took home All-WSC Second Team honors.

Finally, the freshman duo of Theo Shniderman and Andres Uribe was tabbed as All-WSC Honorable Mention.

All nine runners continued to improve throughout the course of the season and peaked at the right times for the Raiders this fall.

Many of the runners will return to the races this spring as part of the Moorpark College track and field team.
