Danny Rodrick named co-Coach of the Year, Jacob Knudsen named MVP as the CCCMVCA Northern Region Post Season Awards Announced
Head Coach Danny Rodrick was selected co-Coach of the Year, Jacob Knudsen was named Most Valuable Player and 5 other Raiders were selected to the All-Northern Region teams when the CCCMVCA announced their 2025 post season awards.
Rodrick, who took over of the head coaching reins this past season when Aaron Hedland was named interim AD, led the Raiders to a 12-2 Northern Region record and a championship, the first in school history. The Raiders finished the year 18-5 overall and a spot in the CCCAA State Quarterfinals. Rodrick will return to his assistant position next season as Hedland will return to the sidelines in 2026.
So. Jacob Knudsen was selected the Most Valuable Player of the Northern Region by the coaches. Knudsen led the Raiders in Kills this season with 245 and broke the Moorpark College career kill record of 485.
So. Tyler Linville and So. Ryan Ferguson were selected to the All-Northern Region Second Team. Linville had 227 kills and led the team with 26 aces. Ferguson had 685 assists, 87 digs and 24 aces on the year.
Fr. Benjamin Greenberg was selected All-Northern Region Second team. Greenberg had 52 blocks with 125 kills
So. Taylor Phipps and Fr. Joey Nelson were selected Honorable Mention All-Northern Region. He had 86 digs with 171 kills on the year. Nelson ended the year with 97 digs
