MOORPARK, Calif. (June 29, 2026) – Announced this week by the Department of Athletics, Moorpark College is seeking qualified candidates to lead the Raiders into a new era of sports with the addition of women's flag football.

The program is expected to being building its foundation in the Fall of 2026, though intercollegiate competition will follow the future.

One of the fastest growing sports in the nation, women's flag football will provide opportunities to a new generation of student-athletes. Flag football will be the 10^th women's sport at the college.

Candidates interested in spearheading the MC women's flag football program, developing leaders, creating opportunities, striving for competitive excellence and cultivating a supporting community should apply at the link below.

Moorpark College currently sponsors eight sports in the fall, two in the winter and seven in the spring. The addition will push the overall total to 18 athletic opportunities for the Raiders community.
