Here are the Moorpark Raiders qualifiers for the track & field so cal championships to be held next Friday.
8 of 9 Lady Raider women qualify. They were Nicole Rietveld, Clarissa Wentworth, and Ashley Hamilton who will run the 3000 steeplechase. Emily Kelly qualified in the 1500, Sara McDonald in the 400, Kayla Lindquist advances in the high jump, while Megan McNally and Alexis Pichardo will run in the 5,000.
On the men’s side for the Raiders, Patrick Smith qualified in the shot put while Niko Althaus advances in the pole vault.
The Southern California Championships will be held next Friday at San Diego Mesa College.
