Raiders Need Win Over Hancock to Force First Place Deadlock

The Raiders suffered a tough loss at Allan Hancock College on Friday.  With Santa Barbara and Cuesta both winning their games on Friday, the 3-0 loss drops the Raiders out of first place heading into Saturday afternoons WSC finale against Hancock.

Nick Rogowski was the losing pitcher as the Bulldogs scored single runs in the 1st, 5th, and 6th innings.  Rogowski went 3 for 5 at the plate with 2 doubles, but only four other Raiders could manage to get a hit off winning pitcher Joe Delfin who pitched a complete game for the Bulldogs.

The Raiders, 11-8 in WSC games, will need to defeat the Bulldogs on Saturday to force a three way tie for the top spot in the WSC North Division with Cuesta and Santa Barbara who both finished 12-8 in WSC play.
