After winning six games in a row to take over 1st place in the WSC North Division, the Raiders baseball team has now lost two in a row and slipped out of first place.
They lost to VC on Saturday afternoon at Moorpark by a score of 7-2. The Raiders took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning, but saw VC score three runs in the 5th and 8th innings.
The Raiders will travel to Ventura College for a rematch on Tuesday beginning at 2:30 pm. With three games remaining, Moorpark stands one game behind WSC leader, Cuesta, and one game ahead of third place SBCC. The top two teams qualify for CCCAA playoffs.
