For the second time this season the men’s volleyball team knocked off the #1 ranked team in the state, Long Beach City College. The Raiders swept the #1 team on their own court 3-0. The Raiders have handed LBCC (14-2) their only two losses of the season.
The Raiders followed that up with a 3-0 sweep at LA Pierce College on Friday night as Tyler Peterson had 18 kills and Tyson Maddox 12. Evan Litchfield had 38 assists in the winning effort for Moorpark.
The Raiders are now 5-4 in the WSC.
